Jan 8: Packing Our Bags, Ready To Go
Countdown: 1 day ... sigh!
On the upside, we had today to get another peaceful vacation day with little stress. We picked up the suits that we had ordered for Luis and the barong that my parents had the tailor (Mister K) make in addition to the suits. But before packing them in our luggage, Luis had to do a fashion show for me and my folks. The good thing about the barong that we ordered is that the cloth was more forgiving than the traditional piña and jusi. At least with this, he can wash it in the washing machine.
While Luis was packing his suits, his barong and his weapons, I coaxed my parents for a family picture, since we normally forget to get our pictures taken and/or they normally didn't look to good. This time, it actually turned out to be pretty good, because we look goofy!
Packing was not as stressful as it usually is, because I didn't really buy a lot. Plus, we got to spend more time with my folks. Happy day!
